Danny Rohl will look to make several changes in the upcoming Sheffield Wednesday clash with Brentford.
Sheffield Wednesday are currently gearing up for an EFL Cup last 16 clash with Premier League outfit Brentford.
After two successive victories on their travels, Danny Rohl’s side will be off to London in high-spirits, especially after the Portsmouth game that saw Michael Smith score a belter from 25-yards-out to help the Owls to all three points in a 2-1 victory.
Josh Windass and Yan Valery were also on top form, particularly in the second half, where Sheffield Wednesday were able to turn around the tie after initially being 1-0 down on the South Coast.
It is expected that Sheffield Wednesday will line up very dissimilarly to last weekend, and Rohl will likely make changes as a result of the necessity to keep his key players fit.

Sheffield Wednesday unavailabilities ahead of Brentford clash
One big absence for Sheffield Wednesday as they gear up for the trip to London to face Brentford is that Pol Valentin is suspended and as a result will miss the midweek EFL Cup fixture.
Olaf Kobacki also looks to be a doubt for the game after he picked up a muscle injury that saw him not travel with the squad for the win at Fratton Park.
As well as this, it looks like Sheffield Wednesday will be without Nathaniel Chalobah for a while longer yet, who has only been handed one substitute appearance so far in the EFL Cup.
Michael Ihiekwe also looks like to miss the tie after he missed the last three Championship games with an achilles injury.

How Sheffield Wednesday will line up against Brentford
One of the several Sheffield Wednesday changes that Rohl is set to make ahead of the game against Brentford is the reintroduction of ‘unbelievable’ shot-stopper Pierce Charles, who has started every EFL Cup game for the Owls up until this point.
As for the defence, a back three of Liam Palmer, Dominic Iorfa and Akin Famewo could be utilised, something which Rohl will almost be forced into due to the current unavailabilities in the squad.
Valentin’s forced exclusion will likely mean that Yan Valery will be handed a start, whilst Marvin Johnson will run the left channel.
Whilst it could be likely that Barry Bannan is dropped to the bench to preserve fitness, he could likely start ion the centre-of-the-park alongside youngster Sean Fusire.
Svante Ingelsson will likely be utilised in a somewhat unfamiliar attacking role alongside Djeidi Gassama.
Despite his poor form as of recently, Ike Ugbo could be entrusted with leading the line for the Owls.
As a result, here is how we think Sheffield Wednesday will line up tomorrow against Brentford…
Pierce Charles (GK), Yan Valery, Liam Palmer, Dominic Iorfa, Akin Famewo, Marvin Johnson, Sean Fusire, Barry Bannan, Svante Ingelsson, Djeidi Gassama, Ike Ugbo
