Free agent Ben Hamer became the first signing of the summer and the first permanent signing of the Danny Rohl era, soon to be followed by Max Lowe.

Rohl and his staff are rightly earning plaudits for instilling a new belief and vision at the club. Though praise must be due to owner Dejphon Chansiri too.
He sorted a new three-year contract for Rohl and has since shown him that the club is one with ambition, proven by their activity in the transfer market so far this summer.
It comes after what was arguably Chansiri’s most difficult season at the club, highlighted by the emergence of The 1867 Group, who staged several protests against the ownership.
