Sheffield Wednesday are almost a month away from their Championship opener against Plymouth Argyle.
There is a real feel-good atmosphere around the city this summer, having avoided relegation and brought in seven new signings already.
Sheffield Wednesday have already snapped up Max Lowe, Yan Valery, Ben Hamer, Svante Ingelsson, Olaf Kobacki, Jamal Lowe and James Beadle.
They are looking to push further for more signings, but it appears their flurry of business may be over for now and we could see a few arrivals drip-fed right up until deadline day in August.
With their first match of the season approaching next month, it seems unlikely that the starting line-up against the Pilgrims will be the finished product.
The Owls will be much better off though and it is likely we will see a number of players making their debut.

Beadle re-signed for the Owls last week and will undoubtedly be number one choice in between the sticks, while Hamer has been brought into replace Cameron Dawson on the bench.
Pol Valentin enjoyed a much-improved second half of the season, however Yan Valery is unlikely to have been brought into be back-up.
The Frenchman will add fierce competition for Valentin, and his time at Southampton with Danny Rohl suggests he could favour him at right-back.
Wednesday are yet to add a new centre-back to their ranks and may be waiting for Di’Shon Bernard to make a decision on his contract before deciding who to bring in.
However, given their success in renewing contracts so far, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Jamaican was tempted to stay and was included in the team to face Plymouth.
Liam Palmer is another who has extended his stay and could also slot in at centre-back, but Dominic Iorfa and Michael Ihiekwe will also be trying to prove their worth in pre-season.
Lowe is another debutant, as it seems unlikely that he would make such a jump from the top flight to not be guaranteed a place in the line-up. Marvin Johnson is approaching his 34th birthday and may find his game-time decreasing.
Barry Bannan and Josh Windass remain crucial figures in the midfield after penning new deals, while they could be joined by Svante Ingelsson.
The 26-year-old is yet to play in English football, but if he impresses Rohl in training then he could earn himself his debut in their first match.
Ingelsson doesn’t have much competition for the time being though, with that midfield three the only natural options the German coach actually has for now.
Anthony Musaba finished last season strongly and will be expecting to retain his place in the squad over the inexperienced Kobacki, who will have to work hard to gain his place off the bench.
Scott Wright is yet to join Wednesday but is likely to have completed the move by the start of the season.
If the Owls haven’t signed a striker by then, then Wright could line up on the wing and Lowe could start his first game up front.
The 29-year-old isn’t a natural No.9 but played as a striker for Swansea, and could well earn a place over Bailey Cadamarteri and the incoming Charlie McNeill.
The Owls could try and buy a striker before then, but a deal for Ike Ugbo appears to be tough, while they may be forced to wait another month to try and sign Duncan McGuire due to the Olympics.
