Josh Windass has named the one thing that he thinks Danny Rohl will love about Sheffield Wednesday.
Speaking to The Yorkshire Post, the forward has claimed that the new Owls boss will have been impressed with the ‘incredible’ fanbase following his arrival.
Danny Rohl was appointed manager of Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month, replacing the sacked Xisco Munoz.
Rohl enjoyed coaching roles with RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich and the German national team before becoming the EFL’s youngest current manager at only 34 years old.
The German took charge of his first game in management in Sheffield Wednesday‘s trip to Watford at the weekend, with 2,104 fans making their way down south to witness a narrow defeat.
While Rohl has began his stint in the Championship with two defeats and no goals, Josh Windass has admitted that he expects the boss to be impressed with the ‘incredible’ supporters.
“I think he knows the size of the club because I don’t think somebody of his pedigree would be taking a job like this if it weren’t a club like this,” said Windass.
“But I think he’ll have been a little bit surprised when he saw the fanbase at Watford because as all you know, it’s incredible.
“It’s carried us over many games since I’ve been here. I think he’ll enjoy what he sees.”

Josh Windass has already shared his thoughts on Danny Rohl’s first few days in Sheffield, and it is important that the 29-year-old can share a good relationship with the German.
The attacker played a key role in the Owls’ return to the Championship, netting 12 goals and providing seven assists last season.
While he is yet to score this term, he will be hoping he can kickstart his campaign under a new boss.
Every player at the club needs to get behind the new gaffer and work their socks off, because it certainly isn’t going to be an easy turnaround for Rohl and his team.
