Sheffield Wednesday gem Bailey Cadamarteri is Lincoln City’s top scorer in all competitions this season. But the jury is still out on the striker.
During the summer, there was plenty of transfer interest in Bailey Cadamarteri, following his breakthrough season with Sheffield Wednesday last time round.
The 19-year-old scored four in 23 Championship outings for the Owls and has since scored three in 13 League One games for the Imps, and five in all competitions.
Speaking to Sheffield Wednesday News recently, Lincoln City expert Jamie Johnson hailed Cadamarteri for his performances so far.
But Lincoln City fans still have mixed views on the Owls academy graduate.

Lincoln City fans offer mixed reviews of Bailey Cadamarteri
Lincoln City fans seem to have very mixed reviews of Cadamarteri’s season so far. On the whole, though, fans seem to be wanting more from the striker.
One Imps fan on X says Cadamarteri ‘looks a decent player’, but another thinks the teenager ‘cannot do it on his own’ and is ‘nowhere near a finished package’.
Another fan posted: “Cadamarteri isn’t very good. Overall play, he’s the worst of our strikers, only effective against teams that dk how to defend.”
This Imps fan also shared that same view, posting: “Cadamarteri has had chances to impress and has been very mixed. Not consistent enough.”
Meanwhile, another says Cadamarteri ‘is probably the best finisher we have’. And one fan posted a very interesting review on X, saying: “Cadamarteri’s season has been mixed.
“He has looked class in spells with key goals vs Cambridge and Stockport. He is the most clinical striker we have at the football club… Link up play and defensively could improve.”

Will Sheffield Wednesday recall Bailey Cadamarteri at Lincoln City?
Despite some tough reviews of his time at Sincil Bank so far, Cadamarteri says he’s enjoying his time at Lincoln City.
He’s playing regular football, albeit not starting all too regularly, and he’s scoring goals as well, which is what Danny Rohl will want to see from him.
Amid the tough form of summer signing Ike Ugbo at Hillsborough, some Sheffield Wednesday fans have called for Cadamarteri to be recalled in the January transfer window.
That seems very unlikely, though, especially with Lincoln fans in League One still not entirely sold on Cadamarteri.
