Sheffield Wednesday striker Ike Ugbo endured another misfire in front of goal on Tuesday night, in the Championship clash against Norwich City.
Ike Ugbo worked hard for Sheffield Wednesday in their 2-0 win against Norwich City on Tuesday night.
But the Canadian failed to find the back of the net once again, and he missed another sitter too, heading over from point blank range.
Sheffield Wednesday paid £2.5million for Ugbo in the summer. Since, he’s scored just once in the Carabao Cup, failing to score in 13 Championship outings this season.

Sheffield Wednesday fans have Ike Ugbo theory after Norwich City
After watching his performance against Norwich and seeing him miss that clear-cut chance, Sheffield Wednesday fans simply believe that Ugbo is lacking confidence, and once he gets that first league goal, he’ll be back to his best.
Several comments shared this message. One fan posted ‘want Ugbo to score so badly, he needs a goal’, and another said ‘better performance from Ugbo so far just missing a goal’.
Another fan added: “Sure there’s goals in there, just utterly devoid of confidence.”
Meanwhile, journalist Dom Howson shared his verdict on the 26-year-old, posting on X: “A man completely bereft of confidence in front of goal. Desperately needs a goal to lift him.”
One Owls fan shared the same feelings, adding: “Shocking miss from Ugbo. Confidence clearly low, but keep the faith Wednesday fans, he’ll come good.”
Another comment read: “Sure there’s goals in there, just utterly devoid of confidence.”
