Sheffield Wednesday have had several players on international duty in November. But one of them endured a rather nightmarish performance on Monday.
Sheffield Wednesday have three players on senior international duty right now, including Shea Charles and Pierce Charles for Northern Ireland, and Di’Shon Bernard for Jamaica.
Meanwhile, James Beadle has been called up to the England U21s and Gabriel Otegbayo for the Republic of Ireland U21s, marking a first for the Owls academy defender.
As ever, Shea Charles has impressed for Northern Ireland, captaining the side in a win over Belarus and then a draw against Luxembourg on Monday night.
Pierce Charles has started both games as well, keeping a clean sheet against Belarus but conceding twice in a 2-2 draw against Luxembourg.
Bernard meanwhile sat on the bench for Jamaica in their 1-0 defeat against USA in the CONCACAF Nations League play-offs first leg on Friday, coming back into the XI on Tuesday morning for the second leg.

Jamaica were beaten 4-2 by Mauricio Pochettino’s USA side on early Tuesday morning as the Reggae Boyz were knocked out of the Nations League.
In fact, Steve McClaren’s Jamaica were three goals down by half-time, with Al-Etiffaq man Demarai Gray scoring twice in the second half.
Bernard scored an own goal in the first half as he saw Christian Pulisic’s shot deflect of his foot and go past goalkeeper Andre Blake.
Pulisic’s shot was going wide of the goal before Bernard stuck out a foot, seeing it ping off the inside of his boot and go into the bottom corner.

Not only did Bernard score an own goal on the night, whilst playing in the heart of a defence that conceded four goals, but he also put in a poor performance overall.
Sofascore gave Bernard a 5.9 rating which was the joint lowest-rating of any outfield player on the night.
Bernard managed just five defensive actions on the night (fifth-most of any Jamaica player), with three tackles and two clearances to his name.
He also managed just the fifth-most duels of any of his teammates (six, with three won). But Bernard impressed with the ball at his feet, with the most touches of any Jamaica player (61), and the most accurate passes too (44).
