Sheffield Wednesday made 12 signings under former manager Xisco Munoz in the summer following their promotion to the Championship.
However, some of the signings have been better than the others, with Wednesday having a difficult start to life back in the second tier, as they are currently bottom of the league.
Here we rank each of the signings based on how well they have done this season, using WhoScored’s average ratings.
Jeff Hendrick – 5.99
Jeff Hendrick joined on a season-long loan from Newcastle United after spending last season with relegated Reading.
According to WhoScored he is the worst summer signing and has only made eight appearances. Has recently been dropped from the team by new manager Danny Rohl.
Ashley Fletcher – 6.09
Ashley Fletcher joined on a season-long loan from fellow Championship side Watford.
After a tough start under Munoz, Fletcher has shown glimpses under Rohl of quality. Has been used off the bench for the majority of his time at Wednesday, only making three starts and failing to score.
Djeidi Gassama – 6.19
Djeidi Gassama is a 20-year-old winger who joined from PSG for a fee believed to be around £800,000.
Has failed to make an impression so far, only starting twice. Seen as a long-term signing though so still has plenty of time to get better.
Reece James – 6.24
Reece James did spend last season on loan at Wednesday, but made the move permanent last summer from Blackpool.
Only been used sparingly so far, making three starts and coming off the bench four times.
Pol Valentin – 6.28
Pol Valentin is a Spanish right back who joined from Sporting Gijon, having worked under Munoz before.
Has made five starts this season, but has not been able to nail down the right-wing-back spot under Rohl as his own just yet.
Anthony Musaba – 6.30
Anthony Musaba is a 22-year-old winger who joined Wednesday from Monaco.
He had a goal and two assists to his name so far this season, playing 13 times so far this season, with nine of these being starts.
John Buckley – 6.31
John Buckley joined on a season-long loan from fellow Championship side Blackburn Rovers on deadline day.
Has made ten appearances, but Rovers are looking likely to recall him in January due to a lack of game time.
Devis Vasquez – 6.31
Devis Vasquez is a Colombian goalkeeper who joined from AC Milan on a season-long loan.
Was the no.1 goalkeeper under Munoz, before Rohl turned to Cameron Dawson. Could well come back in though after some poor displays from Dawson.
Bambo Diaby – 6.39
Bambo Diaby joined from Preston North End in the summer for an undisclosed fee.
Has recently been criticised for his performances as of late, in the middle of the back three. He has started 12 of Wednesday’s 16 games so far this season.
Momo Diaby – 6.48
Momo Diaby joined on a season-long loan from Portimonense in the top flight of Portugal.
Came off injured in his first game for the club against Preston and has not played since. Is set to make a recovery soon, however.
Juan Delgado – 6.50
Juan Delgado is a 30-year-old Chile international who joined from Pacos Ferreira in Portugal.
Made nine appearances before suffering an injury during the October international break with Chile.
Di’Shon Bernard – 6.66

Di’Shon Bernard has without a doubt been Wednesday’s best signing of the summer.
The 23-year-old centre-back joined on a free transfer from Manchester United and has excelled in a poor team, making 11 appearances.
The Jamaican international has also been impressive for his national side, too.
