Sheffield Wednesday fans have praised one star for his ‘match-winning performance’ in their 2-0 victory against Hull City.
Wednesday returned to winning ways on Tuesday night as they outclassed Hull City to pick up three valuable points on the road.
Things started well as the visitors won their first penalty in nearly 600 days in the first half which Josh Windass cooly converted.
Then, Michael Smith confirmed the result in the 81st minute to ensure three points came back to Hillsborough.
However, many Wednesday fans believed one man stole the show at the MKM Stadium to ensure Danny Rohl’s side earned the victory.
James Beadle ‘won’ Sheffield Wednesday the three points vs Hull City

James Beadle has been a player that has divided opinion at Hillsborough. The ‘keeper joined Wednesday on loan from Brighton in the summer and has become the number one under Rohl.
Earlier this season, Beadle admitted that he ‘wasn’t haven’t the best season’ after the Owls’ defensive record worsened.
However, against Hull City, the youngster showed what he was capable of as he made three quality saves to ensure the visitors came away with the three points.
As a result, many Wednesday fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their delight with Beadle.
Some Wednesday fans felt that without Beadle, the visitors could have easily have come away with less than three points at the MKM Stadium.
James Beadle is proving when Danny Rohl signed him

There have no doubt been critics of Beadle this season. Earlier this month, Beadle had vastly underperformed his xG.
This brought into question whether the ‘keeper should keep his spot in the starting XI or Pierce Charles should be given a shot in the Championship.
However, throughout November Beadle’s form has improved and he rightly earns his third clean sheet in four matches.
Hopefully, he can now keep up this run of form and help the Owls shoot up the table and potentially challenge the playoffs.
