Sheffield Wednesday were held to what felt like a very disappointing 1-1 draw against Cardiff City in the Championship on Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday went into this game against strugglers Cardiff City full of optimism. But that optimism was squashed when Cardiff took the lead on 34 minutes.
The Owls replied straight after through a rare Di’Shon Bernard goal, but that would be the final goal of the game.
Boos rang out at Hillsborough at full-time, and one player seemed to have a particularly poor game in the eyes of many Sheffield Wednesday fans, and that was Shea Charles.

Sheffield Wednesday fans blast Shea Charles after Cardiff City
The Owls faithful was less than impressed with Southampton loan star Charles during the Cardiff City game.
One fan said during the game: “Charles is having an awful game,” and another agreed, posting: “Poor from Charles, lazy all round.”
Charles was easily beaten for Cardiff’s goal. Reacting to the goal, one Owls fan posted: “Charles knackered? What was that?”
Another fan said Charles was ‘useless’ after the Cardiff goal. One Owls supporter also said: “Charles isn’t a Prem player yet.”
Meanwhile, one Sheffield Wednesday fan joked: “Sorry but based on today, if Shea Charles is a £12m player, I’ll be the next king.”

Danny Rohl reveals Shea Charles ‘pity’ ahead of January
Charles has been a standout performer for Sheffield Wednesday this season. But after a busy international break with Northern Ireland, Charles seemed a bit sloppy.
Despite that, there’s plenty of talk ahead of January with Arsenal reportedly interested in Charles.
Discussing rumoured interest in Charles, Danny Rohl said before the Cardiff City game: “If he is linked with top teams that’s because he is a top player.
“I don’t know. I don’t know how many players at Sheffield Wednesday get linked with top clubs, but it’s just a pity he is not our player.
“I saw something in him this summer, and he’s shown up and done well and got a lot of minutes for us.”
As things stand, Southampton have no intentions of recalling Charles in January, though with several weeks before the New Year, that could all change.
