Sheffield Wednesday have mostly focused on incomings so far this summer.
The Owls have completed their eighth signing today, as Charlie McNeill arrived on a free transfer after being released by Manchester United last month.
The striker joins Ben Hamer, James Beadle, Max Lowe, Yan Valery, Svante Ingelsson, Olaf Kobacki and Jamal Lowe at Hillsborough this summer.
Sheffield Wednesday did also see eight players leave the club at the end of their contracts, but with more players likely to come in, Danny Rohl may be forced to offload some out-of-favour stars too.
With both Hamer and Beadle joining the goalkeeper department, it leaves Pierce Charles’ position in doubt next season.
The 18-year-old is highly-rated at Middlewood Road, with Rohl previously hailing him as ‘fantastic’.
Charles will need game-time now though and journalist Joe Crann has urged Wednesday to send him out on loan.

Sheffield Wednesday need to offload a goalkeeper
Speaking on Owls Heaven podcast, Crann said: “There’s a few that could maybe do with a loan spell away.
“You look at someone like Pierce Charles and, I wasn’t at the game on Saturday but I watched it back, and I thought Pierce looked really good in the second half. You look at someone like him – how much is he going to play this season with Ben Hamer as number two and then you’ve got your number one in James Beadle? So could Pierce do with a loan this season? Probably.
“You’ve got Jack Hall waiting in the wings as potentially the third choice, or maybe he’s the one that goes out on loan.
“There’s decisions to be made in terms of outgoings and it might get to a bit of a place of one in one out now as well.”
Could Pierce Charles succeed James Beadle?
Charles made two appearances in the FA Cup last season, but his minutes were largely limited due to Dawson’s presence.
While Dawson has now left, Hamer is likely to sit behind Beadle in the pecking order, and remaining at Hillsborough could now really prevent Charles’ development.
The teenager is yet to be sent out on his first loan spell, but a move to a lower league club could do him the world of good.
Like Beadle, after two seasons in the Championship he could well earn himself a regular spot in the Premier League.
If Charles can enjoy similar success further down the pyramid, then he could well battle to replace Beadle once his second loan spell concludes.
