Sheffield Wednesday lost 3-1 away at Norwich City in the Championship tonight.
Sheffield Wednesday’s three-game unbeaten run came to a halt at Carrow Road this evening.
The Owls headed to Norwich in great spirits after a draw vs Leicester City followed up by wins over Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City in their last three outings.
But the home side showed their class, scoring twice in the second half to eventually win the game 3-1.
And it was a typical game of two halves with Sheffield Wednesday more than holding their own in the first 45 but failing to cause any problems after the break.

Rotation didn’t pay off for Sheffield Wednesday
Danny Rohl made some changes to the XI tonight, notably dropping Di’Shon Bernard for Michael Ihiekwe.
That proved ineffectual with Ihiekwe not having an amazing evening alongside Bambo Diaby, who’d previously been forming a nice partnership alongside Bernard.
Anthony Musaba also came in and he had a fairly decent game, causing Norwich City problems with his pace and forward-thinking.
But the decision to drop Bernard for Ihiekwe was not one that paid off for Rohl tonight.
Byers withdrawal gave Norwich control of midfield
George Byers started alongside Barry Bannan and Will Vaulks in the middle of the park tonight.
He was having a steady game but was brought off at half-time for Marvin Johnson; a change that came with a change in shape.
The midfield was congested and it seems like Rohl tried to exploit the space on the flanks, but instead it appeared to give the Canaries control of the middle of the pitch.

Cadamarteri isolated
Bailey Cadamarteri put in another decent performance.
He worked hard for the team, pressing the Norwich players and taking his goal when his chance came.
And it’s a good job he did because he had very little to go off tonight; especially in the second half, the teenager was largely isolated and was left chasing after defenders and stray passes.
Wednesday didn’t get enough crosses into the box or enough passes into Cadamarteri’s direction, with the striker seemingly missing a strike partner or a no.10 behind him.
The Owls return to Hillsborough this weekend where they face bottom three rivals QPR; the R’s have lost just one of their last seven now, winning three of their last four after drawing with Plymouth Argyle this evening.
