Sheffield Wednesday could allow Devis Vasquez to leave Hillsborough this month with Danny Rohl discussing the goalkeeper.

Danny Rohl says Devis Vasquez could leave Sheffield Wednesday
The talented custodian signed on loan from the San Siro-based giants in the summer.
However, he’s found regular action hard to come by and Rohl could be prepared to move in a different direction.
The manager told The Star: “Let’s have a look. It could be that something happens, but I won’t speak today about this. We’ll have a look next week about this; and I think at the beginning of next week we will have a decision and make one.”
Rohl decided to leave Vasquez out of the Wednesday squad completely yesterday as the Owls thrashed Cardiff in the FA Cup.
He instead opted to put young talent Pierce Charles on the bench; with Cameron Dawson taking the gloves once again for Wednesday.
The Owls have been targeting other goalkeepers it would seem. James Beadle has been linked with a move to Wednesday this month.
Wednesday have to send stopper back to AC Milan
This is a signing that quite simply just hasn’t worked out for Wednesday.
The 25-year-old was added by Xisco Munoz and for a little while it looked as though he was going to be the number one goalkeeper.
He played the first nine games of the Championship season for Wednesday and conceded 16 goals for the Owls.
Intriguingly, he’s never been part of a league victory during his time at Hillsborough and Munoz’s departure saw him lose his place.
It makes absolutely zero sense to keep a loanee at the football club if he’s not going to challenge Dawson for the gloves.
As a result, it could now be time to cut Vasquez loose. It’s proved a signing that hasn’t worked and now Rohl might be wise to make a change.
