Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl has confirmed that Callum Paterson is back and in contention for the Owls’ huge Yorkshire derby against Rotherham United.
Wednesday are yet to win a league game this season but have a massive opportunity to do so when they host Rotherham on Sunday afternoon, who are also struggling this season.
It will also be manager Rohl’s first home game, so the fans will be right behind him and there in their numbers to support the team.
Rohl confirms Paterson in contention
Rohl confirmed that Paterson is in contention, but says he has a lot of options with 27 players to choose from.

Rotherham game is a must win for Rohl
Paterson has played ten games in the Championship this season, but was absent from the Owls’ 3-0 defeat at the hand of Plymouth Argyle on Wednesday night due to a leg problem.
However, the issue for the £15k-a-week man seems to have now gone, which is a boost for Rohl who now has a near fully fit squad to choose from.
