Sheffield Wednesday head to Stoke City in the Championship this weekend.
It’s another tough game for the Owls who go into this weekend on the back of a memorable 3-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at Hillsborough last time out.
Goals came from Bailey Cadamarteri, Marvin Johnson, and Josh Windass as the Owls earned just their second win of the season, and only their seventh point under Danny Rohl.
And whilst the game has gifted everyone at the club with a newfound confidence, it also saw experienced defender Dominic Iorfa sustain a new injury.

Iorfa pulled up after just a couple of minutes and was forced off, replaced by Liam Palmer.
And speaking to the press today ahead of Saturday’s clash vs Stoke, Rohl gave this update on the 28-year-old:
“We have to wait on some scans for Dominic Iorfa so it’s difficult to say at this time.”
Iorfa is now in his sixth season at Hillsborough, with injury having been a common theme throughout his spell at the club.
Last season the versatile defender racked up 35 League One appearances but in seasons before, Iorfa’s availability has been limited by various muscle injuries, so it could be a nervy wait to find out the extent of his new injury.
How will Rohl replace Iorfa?
Iorfa has started every game of the Rohl era so far.
He’s clearly a player that Rohl likes and the Owls boss will surely be gutted about his injury, as it looks like it could be a potentially lengthy one.
But in Liam Palmer, who replaced Iorfa at the weekend, Rohl has an experienced name to bring into the XI.
Palmer is yet to start under Rohl and has only made two substitute appearances, so it could be a chance for the 32-year-old to show Rohl what he can bring to the side.
But Rohl has other options too.
Callum Paterson could play in that right-back role but he’s been impressing further up the pitch of late, whilst the likes of left-backs Marvin Johnson or Reece James could be deployed there as a makeshift option.
But for this weekend’s trip to Stoke City, it looks like Palmer is a certainty to replace Iorfa in the starting XI.
It’s another huge game for the Owls and a huge game for Stoke too; they’ve dropped down to 20th after a run of three-straight defeats, so the pressure will be on the Potters to beat bottom club Wednesday.
