Barry Bannan has admitted to going to a lot of games of one Premier League club.
Barry Bannan has played for seven clubs in his 16-year senior career, beginning his career at Aston Villa.
The midfielder then went on loan to Derby County, Blackpool and Leeds United, before signing permanently for Crystal Palace.
After a brief loan spell with Bolton Wanderers, he arrived at Sheffield Wednesday in 2015 and has been a regular for the Owls ever since.
Bannan has spent a huge chunk of his career in the Championship (328 appearances), as well as 86 appearances in League One.
His final 85 appearances came in the Premier League with Aston Villa and Palace, though he hasn’t featured in the top flight since he swapped Selhurst Park for Hillsborough.
While it seems unlikely that he will get a taste of Premier League football again, he still manages to enjoy attending games in his spare time.

Despite making a combined total of over 100 appearances for Villa and Palace, it is another club who he has admitted to watching ‘quite a lot of’.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, Bannan said: “I go to quite a lot of games.
“I’ve been to quite a few Forest games because I live in Nottingham. I love football so any chance I get if there’s games I can get to and I’m not busy being a dad, I’ll go.
“It is interesting watching from the stands, seeing it the way a supporter sees it and hearing the shouts. It’s quite funny.
“I enjoyed being in the Wrexham end although they’re weren’t too happy.
“We all grew up supporting some sort of team then you kind of get lost to that side of it as you start to turn professional.
“I’ve never lost that side of it, I always try to go to games where I can and support my team or just go to games that are on in my city. It’s all I do at home so if there’s a game on nearby I like to go along, not so much to be in the crowd, just to watch a game of football.”

Barry Bannan was recently spotted in attendance at Wrexham’s visit to Doncaster Rovers, where he was cheering on his former Wednesday teammate Steven Fletcher.
Hopefully the Owls captain will be a regular at Hillsborough once he eventually leaves the club, though it is unclear when that could be.
Recent rumours have claimed that the club could look to release him in the summer due to his ‘huge salary’, but it certainly seems a move that will leave a lot of supporters frustrated, especially if they are relegated.
