Anthony Musaba has sent a hilarious response to Di’Shon Bernard’s latest social media post.
Di’Shon Bernard is one of six Sheffield Wednesday players who have jetted off on international duty this week.
The defender is joined by Ike Ugbo, Joey Phuthi, Bailey Cadamarteri, James Beadle and Pierce Charles as they take to the international stage before next weekend’s key meeting with Swansea City.
Born in London, Bernard made his debut for Jamaica the month before he signed for Sheffield Wednesday last summer and has now racked up ten caps.
The centre-back started one of their CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final legs in November and will now be hoping to make another appearance as the face USA in the semi-finals.
After travelling to Texas this week, Bernard took to Instagram to share snaps of himself in training with the national team, writing the caption: “Final preparations.”
The 23-year-old received a number of replies from footballers.
Swansea attacker and his Jamaica teammate, Jamal Lowe wrote: “Brick!!”
His former Manchester United teammate Ethan laird wrote: “Too ard.”
West Brom forward Brandon Thomas-Asante wrote: “I saw you keep up with the winger last game, you can have one speed line next trim.”
The top comment though, was from Sheffield Wednesday’s own Anthony Musaba, who has clearly formed a friendship with Bernard since they both arrived at Hillsborough.
Musaba wrote: “Waiting for my jersey still.”
The 23-year-old will remain at Middlewood Road during the international break, having not made an appearance for the Netherlands since he was playing for the U21s in 2021, where he earned three caps.

Anthony Musaba has looked absolutely ‘fantastic’ at times for Sheffield Wednesday this term and was their top scorer at one point.
The Dutchman now has five goals and three assists in 23 starts for the Owls, but has really struggled for consistency.
Musaba now only has one goal since before Christmas and was criticised for his display against Leeds United earlier this month, with his work in the final third often letting him down.
The attacker has the most shots in the Sheffield Wednesday squad (42), so should arguably be putting more away than his five goals so far – but it does show that he is getting into the correct positions.
Musaba has also made the most successful dribbles (48) and the fifth-most key passes (23), so there is clearly plenty of talent in there.
He is still only 23 years old though and has just moved to a new country, having spent most of his career in his home country.
Musaba may still be getting used to England and the Championship, while if Danny Rohl stays at the club, we could well see the best of him next season.
