Sheffield Wednesday’s recent form will give them plenty of confidence as they travel to Norfolk this evening.
Despite sitting 23rd in the Championship table, the Owls have looked better than they have done in a very long time over the past few weeks.
Danny Rohl has guided the team to back-to-back wins over Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers, as well as claiming a plucky point against Leicester.
Now they are preparing to take on Norwich City and could potentially move within five points of safety with another victory.
Sheffield Wednesday have seen some key players really step up under Rohl, with the likes of Di’Shon Bernard, Callum Paterson and Cameron Dawson impressing.
They will have to be at their best if they are to claim another three points against the Canaries, while a number of injuries at both ends of the pitch could have an impact on tonight’s outcome.
Here are the latest injuries and return dates…
Norwich
Hwang Ui-jo has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since Norwich’s defeat to Watford last month. The striker has scored three goals in 13 games for the Canaries.

Norwich are also without another forward in Josh Sargent, who suffered ankle ligament injury in August and won’t return to the team until the new year. The American was the club’s top scorer last season, with 13 goals.
Jacob Sorensen (foot) and Grant Hanley (hamstring) have been sidelined all season and are yet to make their first appearance of their campaign.
Ben Gibson has also been out of action since October, with a foot injury that keep him out until the new year.
Sheffield Wednesday
It was confirmed in October that Juan Delgado had undergone surgery on his hip after suffering an injury whilst on international duty with Chile. His return date is unclear, but he definitely won’t be available this evening.
Dominic Iorfa has been on the treatment table since he was forced off with an injury inside the first five minutes of the win over Blackburn. An exact date is unknown, but reports have claimed that he will be missing for an ‘extended period‘ as the injury is worse than first feared.

Momo Diaby is said to be making progress as he awaits only his second appearance for Sheffield Wednesday. He has been working with the U21s, but he is unlikely to feature for the senior team until the new year.
Mallik Wilks also won’t return until 2024 after picking up an injury against Leicester. Danny Rohl claimed that the striker would be out for six to eight weeks, which could see him back his comeback at the end of January.
