Released Sheffield Wednesday defender Di’Shon Bernard has dropped a huge potential hint on his Owls future.
Di’Shon Bernard, 23, is now a free agent after his Sheffield Wednesday contract came to an end last month.
The Jamaican international joined Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer last summer after his Manchester United contract came to an end.
He went on to feature 32 times in the Championship, impressing Owls fans with his combative and rounded performances in defence.
Per the Sheffield Wednesday retained list, Bernard was offered new contract to stay at Hillsborough beyond this summer.

The former Salford City, Hull City, and Portsmouth loan man posted a picture on his story, showcasing several suitcases with the caption ‘Ready for the next chapter’.
Bernard then, according to his latest post, appears to be moving to a new club, hence the caption, and the suitcases could suggest that he’s set to join a team overseas.

Bernard proved to be a very good signing for Sheffield Wednesday, and it was a good move for Bernard as well.
He now looks set to go on to bigger things and Wednesday fans will surely thank him for his service and wish him well for the future.
And if Bernard’s spell in S6 has done the club one thing, it’s shown that Sheffield Wednesday, under Danny Rohl especially, can be a very good stepping stone for young players.
