Sheffield Wednesday are set to be plunged straight back into action this week.
The Owls endured a painful 4-0 defeat to Sunderland on Sunday afternoon, but only have a few days before they host Leeds United.
Sheffield Wednesday will open the weekend’s action on Friday night and will be desperate to give fans something to cheer about once again.
Danny Rohl will head into the match with more caution, having headed to Wearside with the same starting line-up and tactics as the team that hammered Plymouth Argyle a week earlier.
Leeds are another tough team with a strong attack though, despite failing to win any of their opening three matches in all competitions.

Rohl urged to replace one player v Leeds United
Rohl will be expected to make tweaks as they look to return to winning ways, while journalist Dom Howson has urged him to make one big tactical change.
Writing on X, Howson said: “Individual mistakes cost #SWFC at Sunderland. You would expect a strong reaction on Friday. But does Danny Röhl have to slightly change their approach away from home? He wants them to be aggressive and play on the front foot but maybe they need to be a tad more pragmatic.”
He added: “Against the stronger teams in the Championship away from Hillsborough, maybe #SWFC have to line up with an extra midfielder and sacrifice an attacking player. The defence was given nowhere near enough protection yesterday.”
Liam Palmer’s versatility could come in handy this week
Wednesday put out a very attacking team to play Plymouth, with Barry Bannan acting as the most defensive of the three midfielders. While Josh Windass also played a little deeper, he is most definitely not a No. 8.
However, it worked, because Plymouth were so poor and didn’t have the attacking talent to pose much of a threat.
Rohl made a huge mistake in taking that same team to the Stadium of Light though, because the likes of Jobe Bellingham and Dan Neil completely overpowered the midfield, while Jack Clarke and Patrick Roberts were simply too good to even allow Wednesday’s full-backs to get forward.
It was never going to be as easy, but fans didn’t quite expect it to crumble the way it did.
While Leeds have lost a number of key players, they are going to be very difficult for Wednesday to handle and Rohl desperately needs to make changes.
The Owls should withdraw Windass and bring in a more defensive player. If Nathaniel Chalobah isn’t fit yet, then they should bring Liam Palmer to play just in front of the backline.
The Yorkshire outfit need to make changes depending on who their opponent is, and they definitely learnt that the hard way at the weekend.
