Sheffield Wednesday are building up a very strong side for their bid to push further up the Championship table next season.
The Owls have already made seven signings since the transfer window opened last month.
Danny Rohl has brought in a range of Premier League and Championship experience, while others have never plied their trade in England before.
James Beadle will hope that another season at Hillsborough can boost his chances for an opportunity in the top flight though, with Brighton remaining uncertain over who their number one really is.
Neither Jason Steele or Bart Verbruggen made more than 21 league appearances last season, with the spot in between the sticks still up for grabs.
Beadle isn’t quite ready for that role yet though and has instead returned to Sheffield, though Rohl has no doubts that the goalkeeper will play in the Premier League.

Speaking to The Star, Rohl said: “I think when we looked at the details from the second leg of the season, we had nine clean sheets and that’s crucial when you want to win games especially in this league. It was also a huge step forward in his path.
“He’s a young goalkeeper but with a lot of different experience now and also a great attitude, he’s very calm in difficult moments. I’m convinced that we will see him in the future high up in football.
“I think for the players that stay, or extended now or come back, they know the spirit we created last season, the high performance culture we create, what I demand as a coach but also what I give them with my human side.
“Everybody knows we have a fantastic coaching team around me and we are building up something at the moment, you feel it building from the first day. The players are ready to go in pre-season and we should be working hard. Everybody is excited for the new season, we know this. It’s a good thing.”
The teenager could be a Premier League No.1 next season
Beadle was absolutely ‘superb’ last season as he picked up the second highest clean sheet percentage in the Championship (42.1%).
The youngster is closing in on his 20th birthday next week and still has so much potential to reach.
Wednesday will have to enjoy his presence while they can, because if he impresses this season then he could be well on his way to establishing himself as a regular at Brighton.
If the Owls were to overachieve and reach the top flight themselves, then they could do worse than trying to sign him permanently.
However, the Seagulls will undoubtedly understand how talented he is and won’t want to miss out.
