Sheffield Wednesday take on Cardiff City in the FA Cup tomorrow.

Sheffield Wednesday take a break from Championship action to face Cardiff City in the FA Cup at Hillsborough.

The two teams met in South Yorkshire last month. Wednesday were a goal in front and on their way to victory before Cardiff turned the tide and took all three points.

So Danny Rohl will be out for revenge tomorrow and he looks set to hand some debuts to his young stars as he continues to embed Wednesday teens in the first-team.

Sheffield Wednesday team news for Cardiff City

Will Vaulks (hamstring) and Callum Paterson (concussion) have been ruled out of this one, according to The Star.

Akin Famewo has trained this week and could be in line to return.

The likes of Dominic Iorfa and Juan Delgado remain longer-term absentees for the Owls.

How will Danny Rohl line up tomorrow?

We look set to see plenty of changes tomorrow and plenty of youngsters featuring.

The 19-year-old Joey Phuthi and 18-year-old Gui Siqueira have been named in the bench in recent weeks and so they seem poised to start tomorrow.

Elsewhere, a goalkeeper change can be expected and Rohl could hand a debut to Northern Ireland U19 man Pierce Charles.

Elsewhere, expect Rohl to make as many changes as possible to give his key players a rest, with some fringe players coming in for rare starts, including the likes of Ashley Fletcher, Reece James, and Mallik Wilks among others.

Tyreeq Bakinson seems unlikely to feature amid speculation that he’s set to join Charlton Athletic on loan whilst Momo Diaby looks set to feature as he steps up his recovery.
