Danny Rohl has identified the exact reason why Sheffield Wednesday were beaten last night.
The Owls three-game unbeaten run was brought to an end at Carrow Road, despite Bailey Cadamarteri bagging a well-deserved equaliser on the half hour mark.
Norwich retook the lead only minutes after the second half restart, before Jonathan Rowe secured all three points for the host with their third.
Sheffield Wednesday had the chance to close in on safety in the Championship table, but remain eight points from a spot outside the relegation zone.
The stats suggest Sheffield Wednesday arguably didn’t deserve to lose – claiming almost double the amount of shots, as well as more possession.

Speaking to The Star, he said: “We were not sharp enough in our pressing today and we had a bit of a problem to come into the shape of the pressing we wanted and in the key moments the opponent were stronger.
“Two early conceded goals in each of the halves make things so hard for your team. It is also so hard for your team when you start, the first goal is after seven minutes and the second so early in the half. This is hard but we tried everything.
“We had good solutions on the ball today, we were calm on the ball which was good but we were not good enough and in the boxes the opponent was better than us. This is football, it was not a bad game from our side. If you see the data you can see we tried everything but at the end it’s about goals and the opponent deserved to win.”
