George Boyd wasn’t even scheduled to play at the Bet365 Stadium, but was handed a starting berth after Rolando Aarons suffered an injury in the warm-up.
And unlike on many of his recent outings, the 33-year-old cannot be accused of failing to impose himself.

With a little more fortune from the match officials, he might have been the match winner, having seen a well-taken goal ruled out for offside.
