Sheffield Wednesday to make third Duncan McGuire bid
Well, it would appear as though the Owls aren’t ready to admit defeat in their quest to sign the striker this month.
Now, Joe Crann from The Star claims that McGuire is going to be subject of a third bid from Wednesday before the end of the window.
Recently, Blackburn Rovers had a bid for the player rejected by Orlando City and now Wednesday are in the mix to sign him.

The journalist claims that McGuire is keen to come to England before the end of the window and that could help the Owls.
Wednesday have already signed Ike Ugbo this month but it would seem as though Danny Rohl wants another new striker too.
Who is Duncan McGuire?
McGuire is a 22-year-old striker who burst onto the scene for MLS outfit Orlando City during 2022/23.
He scored an impressive 15 times and also registered four assists to catch the eye of a number of Championship clubs.
McGuire only actually has 37 outings as a professional to his name and ultimately, he would represent a risk for Wednesday.
Still, at 22, he’s at a nice age to improve and it does appear clear that he knows where the back of the net is.
McGuire has also already made his debut for the USA national team and it would appear he’s set for a bright future.
Rumour rating: 8/10 – It has to be said that there is a lot to like about this particular deal.
The youngster is at a nice age to keep improving and ultimately he’d retain a degree of resale value.
McGuire would have course need to prove himself in England but with his clinical instincts in front of goal, he could prove a hit at Hillsborough.
