According to Football Insider, Sheffield Wednesday are keen on signing Cheltenham Town defender Will Boyle but face heavy competition for his signature.
Boyle came through the ranks at Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town.
The 25-year-old made just two senior appearances for the Terriers before moving on to Cheltenham in 2017 where has since made over 100 League Two starts for the club.
Boyle’s form has been excellent this season, with Cheltenham set for promotion.
Football Insider claim the centre-back’s role in the Robins’ promotion has alerted several clubs with Wednesday, Preston and Rotherham United making up Championship interest.

Boyle was recently named in the EFL League Two team of the year, while his Cheltenham side almost stunned Manchester City in the FA Cup before succumbing to a late 3-1 defeat.
He is exactly the sort of player Wednesday ought to be targeting this summer.
The Owls are set for a summer rebuild with defenders Tom Lees, Moses Odubajo, Joost van Aken and Osaze Urhoghide all out of contract at the end of the season.
Wednesday are fighting for their Championship survival, and much of their transfer business may ultimately depend on what league they find themselves in for next season.
