Here is our predicted starting line-up as Sheffield Wednesday travel to QPR.

Sheffield Wednesday will be given yet another golden chance to claw their way out of the relegation zone tomorrow as they travel to Loftus Road.

The Owls have thrown away all their opportunities recently, failing to beat their opponents since the 1-0 win against Plymouth a month ago.

Danny Rohl‘s side risk widening the gap between themselves and safety if they don’t earn a result from QPR this weekend, though it certainly won’t be easy.

The London outfit have found some form under Marti Cifuentes, losing only one of their previous eight games (W5 D2), including a huge win over Leicester City.

QPR now sit six points from the relegation zone and Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping that they are complacent in their comfortable position.

The Owls will also be hoping they can welcome back some key players to their team.

Here is our predicted starting line-up…

Sheffield Wednesday predicted XI

James Beadle has remained Sheffield Wednesday’s number one choice since his arrival and has labelled the ‘best man by a distance’ in the Middlesbrough defeat.

The young goalkeeper will undoubtedly keep his place in between the sticks.

Di’Shon Bernard is still a ‘question mark’ this weekend, however Rohl could opt to drop his replacement Bambo Diaby and bring in someone more reliable such as Dominic Iorfa.

Michael Ihiekwe and Akin Famewo keep their places in the backline, while Pol Valentin and Marvin Johnson continue as wing-backs.

Barry Bannan returned from injury last time out and will continue to captain the side alongside Will Vaulks, with the Owls’ midfield options very limited at the moment.

Ian Poveda came on as a substitute against Boro and could make his comeback to the starting line-up, with Bailey Cadamarteri dropping to the bench.

Anthony Musaba and Ike Ugbo remain at the top of the pitch, with the pair both currently on six goals in all competitions.
