Benjamin Kololli is the latest player linked with a summer move to Sheffield Wednesday.
Football Insider reports the Owls are one of three clubs, along with Leeds United and Brentford, interested in signing the FC Zurich winger.
But, assuming FI’s claim is accurate, it is Wednesday who could have the biggest trump card to play in the shape of their Kosovan striker Atdhe Nuhiu.
Not only is Nuhiu an international teammate of Kololli, the pair appear to be big pals off the pitch as well.
The long-serving Owls player is a frequent interactor with Kololli’s Instagram posts – and features in some of them himself.

Kololli impressed for Zurich in this year’s Europa League, scoring against Napoli in the knockout stages.
But with FCZ having struggled in the lesgue, finishing third-from-bottom despite his 16 goals or assists, the 27-year-old might well be on the move this summer.
And it will be interesting to see what sort of influence, if any, Nuhiu could have on his compatriot’s future.
