Sheffield Wednesday earned a big three points last Friday, beating Birmingham City 2-0 in the Championship.
Sheffield Wednesday remain in 23rd place of the table, but now five points adrift after Huddersfield Town let slip a 2-0 lead away at 2nd place Southampton.
Another huge game comes up tonight with the Owls travelling to league leaders Leicester City.
Away from Hillsborough, Wednesday have taken just seven points from a possible 45 in the Championship this season, but Danny Rohl will be reminding his players of their 1-1 draw vs Leicester City back in November.
And it’s that man Rohl who is receiving all the praise at the minute.

Friday night saw Sheffield Wednesday fans, led by The 1876 Group, stage a protest against owner Dejphon Chansiri, with fans holding aloft leaflets urging him to sell the club.
But at the opposite end of the spectrum, Rohl is a hugely popular figure among fans.
Speaking on the EFL All Access podcast, pundit and former Arsenal man Adrian Clarke had this to say:
“One thing that really struck me about being at Hillsborough is that the supporters are very much fans of Danny Rohl, the manager. They like him. At the end of the game they were singing his song. Singing his name. He is the big positive around Sheffield Wednesday at the moment. There are lots of negatives. A few things that want changing. But one thing they don’t want to change is the manager because I think they know they’ve got a good one.”
Sheffield Wednesday have a huge asset in Rohl
It seems quite clear now that Rohl is the biggest and most valuable asset that the club has.
And with so many players set to leave as free agents in the summer, as things stand anyway, Rohl’s value to Sheffield Wednesday only increases.
But with relegation still looking likely, along with a distinct lack of investment from the owner and huge unrest among fans, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Rohl left in the summer.
If the Owls go down then there’ll surely be clubs looking at Rohl and the good job he’s doing at Wednesday.
Chansiri really needs to make an attractive pitch to Rohl for him to stay at the club for the long run, and staying in the league would certainly give Rohl much more reason to stay in S6 beyond this season.
Like Clarke says, Rohl is a hugely popular figure among Sheffield Wednesday fans, arguably being their most popular boss since Carlos Carvalhal.
So keeping him at the club is paramount, but certainly difficult.
