The Sheffield Wednesday forward Josh Windass appeared to enjoy a catch up with a former Rangers colleague – now on the books of Sheffield United – on Thursday.
Windass spent two years at Rangers before leaving in the summer of 2018 for Wigan Athletic.
But the former £2 million man moved to Wednesday in early September, having ended last season on loan to the Owls.
Waiting for him back in Sheffield was Wes Foderingham, the goalkeeper who had joined United from Rangers only a matter of weeks before.
And the pair’s friendship does not seem to have waned, based on the following post, which appeared on Windass’s Instagram story earlier.
Windass has made a positive impact for Wednesday, having scored or assisted seven goals in 21 games since the start of his loan spell.
Foderingham, though, has played just once for Sheffield United, where he is expected to continue where he left off at Rangers, as the club’s second choice option.
Windass and Foderingham played together 57 times for Rangers before falling out of favour under Steven Gerrard’s management.
