David Prutton predicts Sheffield Wednesday win at Millwall
The Den isn’t a pleasant stomping ground for Sheffield Wednesday; they’ve won just once there since 2015 and have lost their last two games against Millwall, conceding four in each.
But Sky Sports pundit and former Owls midfielder David Prutton has predicted a 1-0 win for Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.
Wednesday haven’t won away from Hillsborough in 2024, last beating Preston North End 1-0 at Deepdale in their final game of 2023.
A 3-1 home win over Hull City followed, but the most recent win over Birmingham City is Sheffield Wednesday’s only win since that Hull game.

Nearly a decade on from Sheffield Wednesday’s last win at The Den, it looks like Rohl and his players could be poised to break the spell.
Despite having claimed just seven away points all season, Sheffield Wednesday showed in the second half vs Leicester City that they can compete with the best.
They passed the ball around nicely, had their fair share of possession (39%, as per Sofascore) and 10 shots, so against a Millwall side in freefall and lacking confidence, Sheffield Wednesday should fancy their chances.
This game is such a crucial one in the landscape of the whole season; tomorrow’s game could well decide Sheffield Wednesday’s fate this season as another loss would leave them at least eight points behind Huddersfield Town, should they lose at home to Hull City.
QPR meanwhile travel to Bristol City.
