Sheffield Wednesday head to Birmingham City in the Championship this weekend.
Sheffield Wednesday travel to the second city on Saturday, where they take on Wayne Roney’s Birmingham City.
Both teams have been in poor form of late; Danny Rohl’s Wednesday lost 4-0 at home to Millwall last time out and has only taken one win from his opening five games in charge, with the rest being defeats.
And Rooney has also overseen five games in charge of Blues, though he’s taken just one point from those five, so he’ll view this game against a misfiring Owls side as a perfect chance to get his first win.
Birmingham City currently sit in 18th compared to Wednesday in last place.

Sheffield Wednesday have one of the biggest first-team squads in the Championship, so on a rare plus note, the Owls have had very few injury concerns so far this season,
Momo Diaby is the only injury concern for the Owls right now. But speaking ahead of this weekend, Rohl gave this update:
“It’s good to have Momo back on the pitch in training. It’s the first step, he cannot do everything at the moment. But he is in the process to come back and he will need minutes in the Under-21s, then in the next few weeks he will be closer to the first team.”
And Rohl also gave the all-clear for defender Di’Shon Bernard who’s returned to training following his international exploits with Jamaica.
Elsewhere, Callum Paterson is suspended for this one.
How will the Owls line up vs Birmingham City?
One debate for Rohl ahead of this weekend is who to start in goal; Cameron Dawson or Devis Vasquez.
There’s a case to argue both and Rohl will surely be working closely with new goalkeeping coach Sal Bibbo to figure out who is the best option, though after Dawson’s poor performance vs Millwall, Vasquez could be pushing for a start.
Elsewhere, there’s a few names who’ve come under criticism in recent weeks and who could be facing the axe for this one; the 25-year-old Bambo Diaby hasn’t performed all that well, nor too have the likes of George Byers or the suspended Paterson.
One definite change we should see from the defeat vs Millwall is the exclusion of Ashley Fletcher from the XI.
