Sheffield Wednesday desperately need that light to emerge at the end of the tunnel.
The Owls were deducted another six points by the EFL on Monday, taking their total for the campaign to -10, with relegation now pretty much a nailed-on certainty.
Henrik Pedersen’s team are trying hard to get a win or two on the board, with the Owls without one since a victory over Portsmouth back in September.
Harry Amass has been a standout performer, and it would appear as though the kids are indeed alright for Wednesday this season.
Now, Pedersen is set to get another welcome boost as the team remains in search of that elusive victory.

Pierce Charles set to return for Sheffield Wednesday
The Wednesday stopper has been missing for the majority of the campaign through injury, but tomorrow night, he will make his Owls return.
Charles has been named in the squad to play Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup.
Charles hasn’t played since hurting his shoulder in August against Stoke, but now looks to be fit enough to play a game for the under-21s, which is a welcome boost.
Ethan Horvath has been nothing more than a stopgap, and although he’s done a job in some games, he’s never a million miles away from an error or two between the posts.
Pedersen would dearly love to have Charles available for the game against Blackburn at the weekend, and now it will be interesting to see how he comes through against the non-league outfit.
Wednesday face an uncertain January over Charles
The Owls are currently at the mercy of the administrators, so if any offers are made for players in January, they will likely be accepted.
Charles is going to be extremely sought-after, and it’s vital that the Owls get the takeover completed to allow the club some bartering powers in the market.
The Northern Ireland international is a Wednesday academy graduate, and losing another fine youngster on the cheap just doesn’t bear thinking about.
It’s great that the goalkeeper is on the mend, and now the challenge for Wednesday is to try their level best to ensure a takeover happens quickly and his valuation is preserved.
