Sheffield Wednesday face Preston North End at Hillsborough today, looking for a first win since September.
The Owls played well at Millwall on Wednesday night but fell 1-0 to a late Femi Azeez goal that left the team with nothing but some praise for their dogged efforts.
Pedersen has some problems to solve for Wednesday today, but with a threadbare squad to call upon, he will need to do some juggling.
The Owls are playing for nothing other than a little bit of pride at the moment, with their Championship status almost certain to end in May.

Sheffield Wednesday predicted team vs Preston
There will be one enforced change defensively as Dominic Iorfa serves a one-match suspension after a fifth yellow card at Millwall in midweek.
His place will almost certainly go to the experienced Liam Palmer as he slots in to play as a right-sided central defender.
Liam Cooper was quite impressive in his first start on Wednesday night, and Max Lowe also shone during that game as a left-sided centre-back.
At wing-back, Sean Fusire should start on the right, with the impressive Harry Amass on the opposite flank.
Barry Bannan will once again lead the team and start in a central midfield role, with his partner in crime in the engine room likely to be Yan Valery once more.
A three-pronged attack will likely see Bailey Cadamarteri partner with Jamal Lowe, with Svante Ingelsson playing just behind as a number 10.
Ike Ugbo could return to the bench but a starting berth looks unlikely for the striker.
