As well as having several players on loan from other clubs, Sheffield Wednesday also have a few players out on loan too.
Midfield duo Tyreeq Bakinson and George Byers both left S6 in loan deals in January.
It came amid a midfield shake up at Hillsborough, which has since received mixed reviews with Sheffield Wednesday often looking like they’re missing the likes of Byers.
The Scot was pictured in the away end at Blackburn Rovers last weekend amid an impressive loan spell with League One play-off hopefuls Blackpool.
Bakinson meanwhile hasn’t enjoyed such a strong spell with his loan club Charlton Athletic.
Tyreeq Bakinson now facing uncertain future
Bakinson has featured 14 times for Charlton in League One since joining on loan in January, scoring once.
But he was left out of the matchday squad for the last outing vs Shrewsbury Town and has only started one of the last 11 now.
Addicks boss Nathan Jones has recently revealed that he doesn’t like having players on loan, suggesting that Bakinson has played his last game for Charlton Athletic.
The Star have also revealed that Bakinson now faces an ‘uncertain future’ in S6, with his contract out in the summer.
Sheffield Wednesday though have a one-year contract option in Bakinson’s deal, per The Star’s report.

Bakinson has been quite a frustrating player for Sheffield Wednesday.
In spells, he’s shown glimpses of a really energetic and combative midfielder, who can pass the ball and everything in between.
But with Bakinson, it just seems like the application has often been missing.
And now after falling out of favour at Sheffield Wednesday and again with Charlton, it looks like Bakinson is surely heading towards the free agent market this summer.
But at 25, he’s still a young footballer, and it could take one move to the right club to unlock his potential in the Football League.
One thing seems certain though, and that’s that we’ve seen the last of Bakinson in a Sheffield Wednesday shirt.
