The rumoured Sheffield Wednesday target, Neeskens Kebano, played the final 20 minutes of Fulham’s 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The Star reported last week that Wednesday are hopeful of concluding a season-long loan for the DR Congo international.
However, despite Fulham having already strengthened in Kebano’s position this transfer window, signing Ryan Babel from Besiktas, it appears the 26-year-old remains part of the Cottagers’ plans.

Yesterday’s cameo was only Kebano’s sixth appearance at first-team level all season – although half of those have arrived in Fulham’s last three fixtures in league and cup.

And whether the Premier League side will sanction the former Paris Saint-Germain player’s departure remains to be seen.

However, there is little rush for Sheffield Wednesday, with Kebano not eligible to feature in their only remaining January fixture (against Chelsea in the FA Cup fourth round).
Owls fans – would Kebano be a good addition for Steve Bruce’s side?
