The deadline day additions Connor Wickham and Josh Windass have had their Sheffield Wednesday squad numbers confirmed by the club.
The pair arrived at Hillsborough, on loan from Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic respectively, in the closing stages of the January transfer window and found the following shirts – 12, 16, 18, 19, 30, 32, 33, 34 37, 39, 43, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 and beyond – all free.
But while it appears that Wickham required little deliberation – settling for the fourth one available, no.19 – Windass will play out the campaign with digits higher than any of his new teammates – opting for no.47.
It is the first time that either player has occupied those shirts.
Wickham wore 21 at Palace, 10 at Sunderland and both 40 and nine at Ipswich Town, while Windass was 10 at Wigan, 11 at Rangers and both 20 and eight at Accrington Stanley.

Interestingly, Wickham’s new digits add up to 10, and those of Windass, 11.
The pair are eligible to make their Wednesday debuts in Saturday’s South Yorkshire derby at Barnsley.
Their fellow winter recruit Alessio da Cruz appeared for the first time at home to Millwall last time out.
The Owls are said to have seen off competition from rival Championship clubs for Wickham (Reading, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest, Windass (Forest, Bristol City and Cardiff City) and Da Cruz (Brentford).
