Darren Moore is yet to pick up his first point as Sheffield Wednesday manager, and his job doesn’t get any easier this weekend as the Owls face league-leaders Norwich City.
The Canaries have looked unbeatable as of late, and while the Norfolk outfit look as though they have one foot in the Premier League, the Owls are in real danger of dropping into League One.
It’s fair to say that Wednesday are underdogs in this one, but as we all know, anything can happen in football.
If the Yorkshire outfit are to win this one, Moore will have to get his team selection spot on, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Owls’ starting XI for this match.
We think Moore will make two change from the side that lost 3-0 to Reading last week.
Of course, Julian Borner drops out after he was sent off against the Royals. So Chey Dunkley comes into the side.
The rest of the back five remains the same as Joe Wildsmith retains his spot in goal, while Osaze Urhoghide, Tom Lees and Liam Palmer line-up alongside Dunkley in the defence.
We think there will be a slight change in the midfield, with Adam Reach coming in for Calum Paterson and Josh Windass moving back to the number nine position, condemning Paterson and Jordan Rhodes to spots on the bench.
Liam Shaw starts after his controversial move to Celtic this summer was finally announced this week, while Barry Bannan and Sam Hutchinson also line-up in the midfield.
Despite being linked away from the club this week, Kadeem Harris starts on the right.
