Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United have another shared transfer target, according to Teamtalk.
The website claims both Sheffield clubs, along with Norwich City, Derby County and Cardiff City, are keen on the Rotherham United midfielder, Will Vaulks.
Despite Rotherham’s demotion, Vaulks was a stand-out performer – scoring seven goals and creating as many in 41 league games from the centre of the park.
And the Millers have ‘already accepted that their prized asset will be moving on this summer’ as he enters the final year of his contract, according to Teamtalk.
Although Vaulks has never played top-level English football, the 25-year-old has been capped twice by Wales in 2019.
And the website adds that both Sheffield United and Norwich are convinced he could make the step up to the Premier League.
The Owls and the Blades are also among the clubs being credited with an interest in the Leyton Orient striker, Macauley Bonne.
And Vaulks is the second player in his position to be linked with Wednesday this week, after Sam Morsy of Wigan Athletic.
