Sheffield Wednesday unveiled Danny Rohl as their new manager on Friday.
Sheffield Wednesday have found their next boss after sacking Xisco Munoz last week, and on the whole, Owls fans seem very excited by the arrival of the 34-year-old Rohl.
The former RB Leipzig, Southampton, Bayern Munich, and German national side assistant takes on his first job as a manager and of course, it’s a difficult first job to take on.
The Owls sit in last place of the Championship table and remain winless after the opening 11 games of the season.
Rohl then will need an experienced backroom team supporting him, and as per The Star, two potential backroom additions were spotted at Rohl’s unveiling on Friday; Sascha Lense and Bejamin Ehresmann.
The Star writes that both names are known to Rohl from their time working together at Leipzig.
Lense is a sports psychologist and has worked with the likes of Schalke 04, Manchester United, and of course Leipzig, whilst Ehresmann was chief scout with Leipzig.
Lense is the big name here given his United background. He was brought to the club for a brief time by Ralf Rangnick before leaving in 2022, and having been out of work since.

Experience needed at Sheffield Wednesday
For Rohl, this job perhaps isn’t like anything he’s experienced before.
It’s the Football League for a start, and it’s with a club who really seem to be lacking any kind of attacking intent or prowess so far.
Getting a tune out of these players is going to be a huge task and so Rohl will need as much help as he can get.
Bringing in a decent backroom will be a huge help and if he can get in names like Lense and Ehresmann who not only have ability, but who are known to Rohl, then it’ll certainly make things easier.
Rohl’s first game as Sheffield Wednesday boss will be away at Watford next weekend.
