Millwall have approached Sheffield-born manager Neil Warnock, claims an emerging report from Football Insider.
Warnock, now 74, is currently out of work after leaving Huddersfield Town last month, where he was quickly replaced by former Sheffield Wednesday boss Darren Moore.
And the Owls underwent a managerial change of their own shortly after. The club sacked Xisco Munoz and eventually replaced him with Danny Rohl, though Warnock was one name in contention for the Hillsborough vacancy.
Many fans were calling for the club to appoint former Sheffield United boss Warnock, and Rob Staton even revealed on X that the veteran gaffer was open to potentially taking charge of the club.
That ship has since sailed, but it looks like Warnock could have another Championship offer on the table with Football Insider reporting that Millwall have approached him.
The Lions are managerless after parting ways with long-serving former boss Gary Rowett this week.

Love him or hate him, Warnock is certainly a character of the English Football League, and seeing him back in the game always makes for good viewing.
And he showed with Huddersfield Town last time round that he’s still more than capable of delivering at this level.
He may well have done a good job with Wednesday this season but in Rohl, the Owls have a young and exciting coach who looks set to deliver results in the long run.
His first game at the helm is away at Watford this weekend and fans are excited to see what changes Rohl has made in the short time he’s been in charge.
