Former Sheffield Wednesday boss Darren Moore is set to land the Huddersfield Town job, says Alan Nixon.
Moore, 49, has been out of work since leaving Sheffield Wednesday at the start of the summer.
His exit was a huge surprise to Wednesday fans and to the neutral fan too, with Moore leaving on the back of promotion from League One.
Moore’s exit sparked a war of words between himself and Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri, who after several months is still weighing in on the matter.
But now it seems like Moore is on his way back to football and on his way to a Yorkshire rival in Huddersfield Town.
Nixon has revealed on his Patreon this morning that Moore is set to and the Huddersfield Town job, with current boss Neil Warnock leaving after tonight’s Championship clash v Stoke City.
Moore to Huddersfield, bad news for the Owls?
Huddersfield are certainly a relegation rival for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship this season.
And when the two teams go up against each other, Huddersfield may have a definite advantage as Moore will know a lo of the strengths and weaknesses within this Wednesday side.
Although the Owls are under a new boss in Xisco Munoz, many of the current players were brought in by Moore and even more were at least managed by Moore.
But on the whole, Wednesday fans will be pleased to see Moore back in management following his turbulent exit from Hillsborough, albeit taking on a Yorkshire and Championship rival.
