Recent Sheffield Wednesday trialist Jesurun Uchegbulam appears to be back at Middlewood Road

The recent Sheffield Wednesday trialist, Jesurun Uchegbulam, appears to be back with the Owls.

The Mossley AFC winger appeared in the Wednesday Under-23s’ 3-0 defeat against Barnsley last month and is understood to have made a positive impression on the Hillsborough staff.

As exclusively revealed by SWN afterwards, Uchegbulam was promised a further week-long spell at Middlewood Road and had been awaiting a green light from the Owls.

The 18-year-old has continued to play for Mossley in the meantime, but posted a photo of himself on Instagram earlier in which he can be seen wearing Sheffield Wednesday shorts.

Wednesday’s U23s are next in action against city rivals Sheffield United at Bramall Lane next Tuesday, although it remains to be seen whether Uchegbulam is present.
