Sheffield Wednesday lost 1-0 away at West Brom in the Championship last night.
Sheffield Wednesday remain the only Championship team without a win this season, with just two points on the board after the opening 10 games.
Last night’s performance wasn’t Wednesday’s worst of the season. But the scoreline arguably flattered the Owls who created very little, and failed to ever really threaten the opposition.
Skipper Barry Bannan was another notable absentee from last night’s game. He and Josh Windass both missed out, but Bannan was in the stands watching on.
Wednesday have now lost their last three in the Championship. They’re already seven points from safety and whilst there’s still a long way to go this season, it’s looking like the Owls are already heading back to League One.

Not only does he have quality, but he’s someone who the fans really relate to, with Bannan no doubt sharing the fans’ pain at this current run of form.
Xisco Munoz is surely on borrowed time right now. But whether or not owner Dejphon Chansiri coughs up and pays Munoz off remains to be seen.
Sheffield Wednesday face Huddersfield Town this weekend before we go into the international break, which will no doubt be a defining two-week period in the Owls’ season.
