The Sheffield Wednesday-linked forward Alessio da Cruz flew into Manchester on Tuesday, according to his Instagram story.
Tuttomercatoweb reported earlier this evening that Da Cruz was heading to Wednesday for a medical and to finalise a loan move from Parma.
And that part of the story appears to check out.

The Italian website also claimed that the Owls will have an option to buy Da Cruz at the end of his temporary spell.

But that, it seems, will be confirmed in due course.
To add credence to the rumour, Da Cruz is already being followed on Instagram by Att Chansiri, son of the Sheffield Wednesday chairman.
Parma are reported to have paid around £2.5 million for the Dutchman in January 2018, but later loaned him out to Spezia Calcio and Ascoli, for whom he scored or made 11 goals in 15 Serie B games in the first half of this season.
Da Cruz was at Ajax as a youngster, while his time at FC Twente overlapped with that of the Wednesday midfielder Joey Pelupessy.
The 23-year-old can operate anywhere across the front line, but has spent the bulk of this season at centre-forward.

Sheffield Wednesday’s need for offensive reinforcements was exacerbated by the loss of their leading scorer Steven Fletcher to injury this month.
