The Sheffield Wednesday players enjoyed a team night out on Tuesday, according to one of their Instagram stories.
Wednesday have failed to win any of their last six Championship fixtures, losing four.
And confidence within the senior squad appears to be low.
A good team bonding session could be what’s required to spark an upturn in fortunes.
And the Wednesday players, staff, and fans alike will hope that last night’s get together at a city centre Italian restaurant will do exactly that.
Footage from a short video uploaded by the January recruit Alessio da Cruz showed several first-teamers – including the recovering Steven Fletcher – tucking in at Grazie, on the corner of Church Street and Leopold Street.
Though, what happened next remains to be seen.
With no midweek game, the Owls’ players will typically have Wednesdays off, so a few post-meal drinks may have been in store.
Wednesday travel to Birmingham City on Saturday, before back-to-back home games against Charlton Athletic and Derby County next week.
Owls fans – what has gone wrong for Garry Monk’s side since Christmas?
