It’s unlikely Millwall would intend to start Coburn against Wednesday, but a reporter has now claimed there is a huge ‘question mark’ over whether he will be able to feature at all.
Journalist Richard Cawley wrote on X: “Josh Coburn’s loan deal to #Millwall is done. Think was tight in terms of trying to get the Boro striker in before the midday cut-off for deals – so a question mark right now as to whether he is available for tomorrow’s game against Sheffield Wednesday.”
The hosts likely won’t worry too much about Coburn’s absence given that they already signed Macaulay Langstaff, though the 27-year-old has failed to score in his five appearances in all competitions so far.
