Max Lowe was one of five players to make their Sheffield Wednesday debut against Plymouth Argyle at the weekend.
It was a new-look starting line-up that hosted Wayne Rooney in his first game as the Pilgrimsโ head coach.
Sheffield Wednesday looked far from a team that had just been put together this summer though, dominating Plymouth as they put four goals past them in the opening fixture.
Lowe slotted straight in at left-back after making the controversial move following his Sheffield United exit and was one of many players to impress at Hillsborough.
The 27-year-old won one clearance, one interception and three tackles, as well as making two key passes and winning 60% of his ground duels.

Lowe took to social media following his debut, writing: โHappy to make my debut with a strong team performance ๐ช๐พ Thank you for your support ๐ฆ๐โ.
The defender was flooded with messages of support from both his teammates and fans.

Lowe looks set to take over from Marvin Johnson permanently
Lowe took Marvin Johnsonโs place in the starting line-up and is most likely set to become a regular fixture in the team.
Johnson proved a very useful asset to have for Danny Rohl last season, picking up eight goal contributions as a wing-back.
The 33-year-old will surely still have a role to play though, with his leadership and versatility likely to bring him into the fold during tougher runs of form and the most important fixtures.
Lowe will be eager to nail down a regular spot though, having struggled to become first-choice at Sheffield United.
He certainly made a good first impression against Plymouth though, but the real test will be when they play the likes of Sunderland and Leeds United over the next couple of weeks.
It will also be interesting to see whether Rohl changes formation when they travel to Wearside this weekend, as it could give Lowe more freedom to get forward.
The 27-year-old picked up six goal contributions in his last season in the Championship and will be eager to better that if given the chance to be more attacking.
There is no doubt he will have to be careful though if he is to come up against the likes of Jack Clarke and Patrick Roberts.
