Some Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting after seeing that Ravel Morrison wasn’t involved in the U23s’ game against Sheffield United on Friday.
Morrison has been training with the club for the last fortnight or so, and after Danny Simpson featured for the U23s earlier this month, one would expect Morrison to have been involved here.
However, there was no sign of the midfielder in the side, sparking plenty of discussion amongst the Owls fanbase.
Some Wednesday fans thought that this spelled the end of the club’s affiliation with the player, while others were hoping that this is the case.

It’s unknown what the reality of the situation is, but it seems as though there may be a logical explanation for his absence.
Morrison was called up for international duty with Jamaica this week, and while he wasn’t in the squad for the Reggae Boyz’ game against the USA this week, his latest Instagram story does hint that he’s met up with the squad.
It remains to be seen whether or not Morrison does end up becoming a Wednesday player.
Here’s what the Hillsborough faithful have been saying on social media…
Decided against signing him ?

May be a case of him being not quite ready. A bit more training and then look to get him in an u23’s game next week

What might than mean? He’s not impressed, so will move on? Or, has impressed and might be involved with first team?!
