Achraf Lazaar has suggested that he has yet to receive any interest from other clubs ahead of his return to training with Newcastle United.
Lazaar spent the second half of last season on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, for whom he impressed despite having made just four appearances due to injury and illness.
Wednesday have yet to fill the vacancy left by Lazaar’s return to Newcastle.
But, for now at least, it appears that a move to Hillsborough is not in pipeline.
“I have finished the holidays, now I go back to Newcastle,” Lazaar told Calciomercato in Italy.
